BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team remained perfect in The Commonwealth Coast Conference with a 9-0 win over Anna Maria College Wednesday afternoon.

The Hawks swept all three doubles matches without dropping a point, taking each by an 8-0 score. In singles play, RWU only dropped four points on the day between all six matches.

Jeff DeNunzio (Barrington, R.I.) and Nicholas Hawvermale (Bethlehem, Conn.) each won their singles matches by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores, as DeNunzio defeated David Bourget at #1 singles while Hawvermale took his #6 match over Adam Williamson.

The #2 through #4 singles matches each had scores of 6-0, 6-1. Dan Kleitz (Wethersfield, Conn.) won at #2 over Haakim Ferguson and Kevin Erikson (Tolland, Conn.) defeated Mike Dandurand at #3. Kyle Baker (Bolton, Conn.) took his #4 match against Jesus Torres, while Spencer Withington (Plymouth, Mass.) beat Kadeem Brown at #5. Withington also paired up with Jason Pacino (North Reading, Mass.) at third doubles to defeat Brown and Adamu Abubakar.

Roger Williams (13-6, 10-0 TCCC) wraps up the regular season Saturday at Gordon College while Anna Maria (3-11, 1-9 TCCC) hosts Wentworth Institute of Technology, also on Saturday.
