Wrestling beats Western New England in last dual meet

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Wrestling team closed out its final dual meet of the season with a 31-14 win over Western New England University Saturday afternoon.

Collin Crowell (Hampstead, N.H.) notched his 17th straight win with a 17-0 victory over Tommy Caliente at 165, while Conor Hayes (Old Bridge, N.J.) defeated Joe Slane 10-3 at 149.

Shane Parcel (Pine Brook, N.J.) and Philip Ernst (Succasunna, N.J.) each picked up a pair of 15-0 respective wins at 184 at 197, while Jack DiBurro (Haverhill, Mass.) defeated Matt Mangelli 14-9. Kyle D'Urso (Londonderry, N.H.) picked up the sixth win for the Hawks at 157 with a 19-8 at 157.

Roger Williams (12-3) will be at the New England Championships in two weeks at Springfield College.
