Ben Somera commented, "I have coached a lot of All-American middle blockers in my time and I not sure I have ever seen a better match performance by an athlete in that position. Everyone can appreciate the kills from the stands but the composure and word that came out of her mouth at our time-out at 11-11 in the fifth game was exactly what our freshman and sophomores need to hear before they went back on the court."
Somera added, "Salve Regina is one of the best teams we have played this season and they don't get a lot of recognition for being 23-3 and tied at the top of the Commonwealth Coast conference standings. I give Salve a lot of credit. Our gym was packed and it took career high performances from two our players to get this win." Somera continued, "I want to give a huge thank you to the students and fans that came out tonight. And Special thanks to our friends in Student Leadership that promoted and sponsored Go Roger event to increase school pride."
