BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Women's Soccer team prepares for its first appearance in the third round of the NCAA Tournament, facing off against Williams College Saturday at 11:00 a.m. This will be the first time that these two teams have squared off.

Roger Williams claimed its first Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship since 2012 and its fifth CCC Championship overall after defeating Wentworth Institute of Technology in a hard-fought 4-1 shootout win on Saturday, November 8. RWU's Kristin Tetreault scored the game-tying goal with 21 seconds left in regulation to force overtime, where RWU ultimately came away with the win. RWU has extended its unbeaten streak to 21 games, having gone 17-0-4 since September 6.

Roger Williams comes in boasting the Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year in Mariah Kaiser, as well freshman keeper Sydney Martin, who ranks 13th among all NCAA Division III goalies in goals-allowed average at .409.

Williams is making its 16th overall NCAA Tournament appearance in school history and its eighth straight, after earning an at-large berth after falling to Conn.
