Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. – Connecticut College came away with a 7-2 victory against the Roger Williams University Women's Tennis team on the South Tennis Courts Sunday.
Monica Rohrbach (Fort Worth, Texas) posted a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number four singles to lead Connecticut College in her final home weekend match.
The Camels improved their record to 3-8, while the Hawks fell to 13-6 with the setback.
Charlotte Marcoux (Sudbury, Mass.) contributed with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at number one singles for the hosts. Adrienne Sieverding (Red Hook, N.Y.) prevailed in a 6-4, 6-3 triumph at second singles for the winning side.
Aneeka Kalia (Southborough, Mass.) and Jillian Brigandi (Harrington Park, N.J.) chipped in with victories in their respective slots at #5 and #6 singles for the Camels.
Rohrbach teamed up with Brigandi in an 8-2 victory at third doubles for Connecticut College.
Roger Williams University freshman Harley Kaiserman (Setauket, N.Y.) earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory at third singles for the visitors.
Senior Samantha Curran (Cumberland, R.I.) and Caroline McCarthy (Carver, Mass.) posted an 8-2 victory at number one doubles for the Hawks.
