Box Score BRISTOL, R.I. - The Roger Williams University Men's Basketball team moved to .500 on the season with a 65-47 win over Wheaton College Tuesday evening in non-conference action.
 
The Hawks and Lyons have now split the last five games in the series, though RWU has taken five of the last seven matchups between the two.
 
The Hawk defense stymied the Lyons offensive attack throughout the night, holding Wheaton to onlye19.0% shooting on the night (12-for-63), including a 4-for-30 performance (13.3%) in the first half.
 
RWU's offense stalled a bit in the game as well, finishing at a 33.9% clip (19-for-56). However, the Hawks were aided by 54 rebounds in the game, as well as 20 free throws in the second half.
 
Alex Puzone (North Haven, Conn.) finished with 16 points and six rebounds for RWU. Jaylen Jennings (Norwalk, Conn.) added 13 points and nine rebounds off the bench, while Trevor Fahmy had a solid defensive outing with ten rebounds and four blocks.
 
Quinton Dale (Winthrop, Mass.) scored 21 points with nine boards for Wheaton. Timothy Berry (Sterling, Mass.) chipped in with four points, eight rebounds, and three blocks. Ryan Fogarty (Walpole, Mass.) and Billy Battaglia (Simsbury, Conn.) each added six points and three boards.
 
Roger Williams (2-2) will head to Connecticut College on Sunday after the Thanksgiving break, while Wheaton (3-2) hosts Framingham State on Tuesday, December 1.
