Men’s Tennis notches win over Endicott

Box Score BRISTOL, R.I. - The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team finished the week 3-0 after collecting a 5-1 win over Endicott College Sunday afternoon.

The Hawks opened the day coming away with the sweep at doubles, beginning with Grant Rosenberg (Melville, N.Y.) and Jonah Schwartz (Orange, Conn.) defeating Michael Lauretano (Winchester, Mass.) and Sean McAndrews (Vinehard Haven, Mass.) 8-2 at #2. Kyle Bull (Pleasantville, N.Y.) and Zack Bussiere (Colchester, Conn.) stepped up with an 8-4 win against Eric Pierce (Barrington, R.I.) and Justin Warshavsky (East Hartford, Conn.) at #3, while Eric Laboissonniere (Cumberland, R.I.) and Ryan Swanson (West Newbury, Mass.) won 8-5 over Michael Dolph (Stratford, Conn.) and Chris Kirkpatrick (Newburyport, Conn.) at #1.

Laboissonniere and Schwartz notched the two wins to clinch the victory for the Hawks. Laboissonniere took down Kirkpatrick at #1, and Schwartz defeated Lauretano 6-1, 6-1.

Roger Williams (5-3, 2-0 CCC) will head to Salve Regina on Tuesday, while Endicott (4-4, 0-1 CCC) hosts Wentworth on Saturday.
