Men’s Tennis sweeps Curry in win

Box Score MILTON, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team sailed to a 9-0 victory over Curry College Sunday afternoon.

The Hawks began the day by taking all three doubles matches. Ryan Swanson (West Newbury, Mass.) and Eric Laboissonniere (Cumberland, R.I.) grabbed an 8-3 win over Valvel Temin and Nick Poulack at the #1 flight. Zack Bussiere (Colchester, Conn.) and Kyle Bull (Pleasantville, N.Y.) came away with an 8-1 victory at #2 against Charlie Paltsios and Andrew Hegarty, while Jonah Schwartz and Grant Rosenberg (Melville, N.Y.) defeated Joe Berger anad Eric Hellberg at #3.

At singles, Laboissonniere and Bull each cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins at #1 and #6, respectively. Swanson and Rosenberg picked up wins at #3 and #5 against Paltsios and Hegarty respectively. Bussiere stepped up at #2, winning 6-2, 6-0 over Temin, while Poulack had the final win for the Hawks, defeating Poulack 6-1, 6-0 at #4.

Roger Williams (9-4, 6-0 CCC) will host Gordon College on Tuesday.
