Bridgewater, Mass.- The Roger Williams University wrestling team swept three teams at a Pilgrim league quad, Sunday at the Trinity center at Bridgewater State. The Hawks are currently ranked 5
th in the Nation with ten wrestlers in the top ten in the nation in their respective weight classes.

The Hawks won almost all duals against Bridgewater State, beating them 45-3.

The Hawks then faced off against Southern Maine and would walk away with the win 28-17. Freshman, Jacob Jacobi, (Effort, PA) pinned opponent Casey Abshire of Southern Maine at 133 pounds. Senior
Alec Golner, won his weight at 165 pounds by major decision over Josh Smith. Senior,
Kyle Foster (Somers, Conn.) also won his weight at 285 pounds by pin.

The Hawks ended the quad against Western New England and winning it 44-0. The Hawks won all duals against the Golden Bears.
Justin Cochran (Paramus, N.J.) won his weight class at 149 pounds by pin against Lamont Wallace of the Golden Bears.
