Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team rolled to its second win of its Spring Break trip, taking down Alfred University 8-1 Monday afternoon.
 
The Hawks took all three doubles matches, beginning with a 8-1 win by Carl Thurston (Wallingford, Conn.) and Eric Bott (Bethel, Conn.) at #3 over Kyle Merrifield and Sean Benoit. Eric Laboissonniere (Cumberland, R.I.) and Andrew Amarone (North Haven, Conn.) picked up an 8-2 win over Mike Wisniewski and Pat Brown at #2, while Grant Rosenberg (Melville, N.Y.) and Nick Spoor (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) defeated Connor Doud and Matt Baloga 8-5 at #1.
 
Matthew Russo rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 #6 singles win against Dan Coyne, while Spoor set down Baloga 6-0, 6-4 at #3. Amarone won his #5 match against Brown by a 6-3, 6-2 score. Thurston took down Benoit, while Rosenberg earned his win by default.
 
Roger Williams (3-0) will next take on SUNY Oneonta on Wednesday.
