Box Score POMFRET, Conn. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team held off Nichols College with a 5-3 win over the Bison Saturday evening in CCC action.
 
The match was a rematch of last year's Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship. The Bison fell behind 2-1 after doubles – just as they did in last year's championship – but unlike last year, the Bison couldn't get it done in singles, dropping three of five matches while one went unfinished.
 
 RWU senior Eric Laboissonniere (Cumberland, R.I.) (RWU) picked up wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles, while freshman Fred Clifford (Duxbury, Mass.) won at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles. Nichols senior Josh Halpern (Secaucus, N.J.) won at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles
