Men’s Tennis Downs St. Michael’s For First Florida Win

Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team earned its first win of the team's Spring Break trip with a 7-2 victory over Saint's Michael's College Tuesday evening.
 
The Hawks took two of the three doubles flight, with Jake Cole (Sterling, Va.) and Matthew Russo (Branford, Conn.) defeating Dan Foley and Hayden Steward 8-6 at the #1 flight and Alex Bonanno (Westford, Mass.) and Nick Spoor (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) taking down Matt Mosher and Forrest Owen 8-5 at #3.
 
At singles, Cole paired up against Lambert and came away with a 6-2, 6-3 win at #1. Brendan White earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory at #2 against Patrick Dietz, with Spoor downing Steward 6-4, 6-1 at #3. At #4, Bonanno was down 2-6 before ralliying for the 6-3, 10-7 victory. Thomas O'Leary earned the final win for RWU, rolling to the 6-0, 6-1 win against Jake Remillard at #6.
