Box Score BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis bounced back from Sunday's setback with a 9-0 victory over UMass-Dartmouth on Monday afternoon.
The Hawks took two of the doubles matches without dropping a game.
Jared Gansert (Scituate, R.I.) and
Brendan White (Old Lyme, Conn.) downed Summer Forest-Bulley and Zach Pavao 8-0 at #2 while
Miles Conlin (Branford, Conn.) and
Thomas O'Leary (North Easton, Mass.) held off Mark Desmond and Tommy Yong.
Alex Bonanno (Westford, Mass.) and
Grant Rosenberg (Melville, N.Y.) collected an 8-2 win against Justin Torres and Patrick Pacheco for the third point for RWU.
At singles,
Jake Cole (Sterling, Va.) and
Matthew Russo (Branford, Conn.) each earned 6-1, 6-1 victories at #1 and #3 over Pacheco and Pavao, respectively. Gansert won his #5 match 6-0, 6-1 against Eric Cimino, while Conlin took down Yong by the same score at #6.
Nick Spoor (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) defeated Torres 6-1, 6-2 at the #2 flight, with Feldman shutting out Eliel Mares 6-0, 6-0 at #4.
Roger Williams (6-3) takes on Gordon College Wednesday while UMass-Dartmouth (1-7) plays Lesley the same day.
