Women's Soccer Shuts Out Nichols on Senior Day

BRISTOL, R.I.  – The Roger Williams University Women's Soccer team shut out Nichols College 2-0 on Friday afternoon.

How It Happened
The Hawks struck first when Nerwinski crossed the ball from the right side to Yucius in the middle who picked the left side of the net to place the ball in. In the second half, a corner kick led to an assist from Socia who dumped it to Nerwinski who then crossed it to Robbins for a goal to put the Hawks up two. With three minutes left in the game Nichols had a direct kick from just outside the 18 in which McCutcheon made an unbelievable save to secure the 2-0 win.
 
What's Next
Roger Williams (11-6-1,4-1-1) takes on Gordon College on October 23rd at 4:00 p.m. while Nichols (10-6, 1-5) turns to Plymouth State at 3:00 p.m.
