"It is literally a team effort; lots of people contributed to this success," said Head Coach
Tim Moody. "You cannot do this by yourself; I have so many people to thank, both past and present. It is particularly rewarding for it to happen on Homecoming Weekend with all the alumnae in town. They are a part of this accomplishment as well as all the coaching staff, especially Lindsey Bruno who has been here from the start and has always supported the direction we wanted the program to go and develop. We now have former players who have joined the coaching staff, which is awesome and that says it all."

"We took the team to Costa Rica a few years back and just recently returned from the World Cup which we believe helps build relationships, create bonds and life long memories. Playing the sport you love while traveling in a foreign country is a win-win. Getting to experience a new culture and get out of your comfort zone is very important for young people to help them grow as a person. We have had so many amazing memories and experienced so much in the past nine years, it would be incredible if the next nine years are filled with the same outcomes or similar opportunities for the Hawks of the future. It has been a great journey and ride. Let's hope it continues."
