SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Roger Williams University Women's Soccer sophomore midfielder Sammy Jost (Ringwood, N.J.) and freshman forward Bianca Robbins (Johnston, R.I.) have been respectively named Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.

Jost led her team to a 2-0 week with wins over Bridgewater State and Salve Regina. Jost led a defensive unit that held opponents to only one goal on the week. She controlled the midfield making a number of key tackles and breaking up passes, limiting opponents to only seven shots on-goal across the two matches.

Robbins tallied her first goal in her collegiate career this week. The tally was the game-winner, coming in the 95th minute of the Hawks' CCC victory over Salve Regina. Robbins' goal broke the 1-1 tie earning the Hawks the huge conference result.
