Brandeis Earns Win Over Women’s Basketball

BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Women's Basketball dropped an 83-63 non-conference decision to Brandeis University Tuesday evening.

How It Happened
The Hawks opened up the game on a 7-2 run, with Gabby Jerahian accounting for five of those points. The Judges would come back and later pull ahead 12-9. The end of the first would see the score tied at 16-all.
 
The second quarter would turn in favor of the Judges, as Brandeis outscored Roger Williams 25-11 in the period. A 7-0 run for Brandeis halfway through the period turned a four-point advantage into an 11-point lead (31-20). They would later hold RWU scoreless over the final 2:11 to take a 41-27 lead into halftime.
 
In the third, the Judges would lead by as many as 21, eventually taking a 65-47 lead into the fourth. The final quarter saw RWU unable to pull closer than 13 as the Judges grabbed the win.
