BRISTOL, R.I. – The University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth came away with an 84-55 non-conference victory over the Roger Williams University Women's Basketball team Tuesday evening.

How It Happened
UMass-Dartmouth began the game on a 10-4 run before Roger Williams answered with five straight points to pull within one. However, the Corsairs closed out the final four minutes of the quarter on a 12-2 run for a 22-11 lead going into the second.
In the second, UMass-Dartmouth led by double digits for most of the period. The Hawks managed to cut it to nine twice, but the Corsairs entered halftime still holding on to their 11-point lead. 37-26.
Roger Williams began the second half an 8-2 run to pull within five. However, RWU was unable to get over the hill, as UMD brought the lead back to 12 with 5:02 left in the quarter. They would later end the quarter on a 7-0 run for a 14-point lead entering the fourth. In the final period, UMass-Dartmouth led by double figures the whole way, earning the win.
