SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Roger Williams University Men's Tennis senior Nick Spoor (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week.

Spoor picked up wins in both of his No. 4 singles matches this week as Roger Williams took on Regis and Stonehill. He bested the Pride's No. 4 player in straight sets (7-5, 7-5), but needed to come from behind against the Skyhawks. He dropped the first set 6-3, but rallied to take the second set 7-5 and the third set 10-8. He split his doubles matches at the No. 2 position. He defeated Regis's No. 2 pair 8-5 before falling to Stonehill's second grouping, 6-3.
