BRISTOL, R.I. — Roger Williams University Sailing seniors Conner Harding (Naples, Fla.) and Jennifer Agell (Huntington, N.Y.) have been honored as New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association Sailors of the Week.

Harding and Agell led their team in an impressive performance at the Jan T. Friis Trophy at Roger Williams University this past weekend. This was an extremely competitive event, held just two weeks before the New England Team Race Champs. Racing was cancelled on Saturday due to high winds, which made every race count on Sunday, in the single round robin format. Roger Williams finished 7-2, tied for first place, but losing the tie-breaker to Yale. This performance establishes RWU as one of the favorites to move forward to the ICSA Team Race Nationals.
