WESTON, MASS. – The
Roger Williams Men's Tennis team eared a 9-0 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon in a Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup.
Brendan White (Hamden, Conn.) and
Jared Deibe (Oakland, N.J.) notched a 8-1 win at #1 doubles against Jarett North (Roanoke, Texas) and Tristen Maus (Mansfield, Mass.), while
Thomas O'Leary (North Easton, Mass.) and
Miles Conlin (Branford, Conn.) downed Tyler Hall (Framingham, Mass) and Mun Chet (Braintree, Mass.) 8-3 at #2. At the #3 flight, Dan Tocoo (East Quogue, N.Y.) and
Tyler Cain (Montpelier, Vt.) earned a 8-1 victory over Harrison Maki (Rutland, Mass.) and Rahul Bahl (Brookline, Mass.). At #4,
Arlex Correa (Lynnfield, Mass.) and
Malcolm Hammond (Edgartown, Mass) defeated Matt Roberts (Westfield, Mass.) and Taymour Mansi (Alexandria, Egypt) 8-4.
At singles, White defeated Hall 6-1,6-0. Debie downed North 6-1, 6-1 while Tocco defeated Maus 6-4. 6-1.
Jake Cole (Sterling, Va.) earned a victory over Chet 6-2, 6-0 and
Matty Feldman (Duxbury, Mass.) notched a 6-1,6-0 win over Bahl.
Roger Williams (5-4, 3-2 CCC) will travel to Curry College Tuesday afternoon, while Wentworth (6-10, 1-4 CCC) will host Western New England at Regis College Tuesday evening.
