BRISTOL, R.I.—The Roger Williams Men's Tennis team was victorious 7-2 in today's matchup against Gordon College.
The Hawks came out strong during doubles play with three wins going into singles. Number one's

Jared Deibe (Oakland, N.J.) won 8-7 in a close match against opponents Nate Lookwhy (Westborough, Mass.) / Jonathan Frink (La Crescenta, Calif.). Number two's,
Miles Conlin (Branford, Conn.) /
Thomas O'Leary (North Easton, Mass.) won 8-3 while Dan Tacco (East Quogue, N.Y.) and
Tyler Cain (Montpelier, Vt.) won 8-6.
In singles, Deibe defeated opponent Kris Marineau (Auburn, N.H.) 6-2, 6-3. O'Leary also beat his competitor Will Jefferys (Parkton, Md.) 6-3, 6-1 for his second win of the day. Matt Feldman (Duxbury, Mass.) and
Arlex Correa (Lynnfield, Mass.) both came in clutch winning both of their matches to help the Hawks achieve a huge conference win. Feldman crushed his opponent 6-2. 6-0 and Correa dominated as well winning 6-1. 6-1.

Barry Gorman states, "Our team played awesome today. We came out and got the early lead in doubles and used that momentum to carry us into the singles. We are looking forward to facing NESCAC opponent Conn. Col. tomorrow."
The Hawks (4-2) play again tomorrow against Connecticut College (4-4) at 4:00 p.m.
