NEWPORT, R.I.—The Roger Williams Men's Tennis team shutout conference member Salve Regina University 9-0 on a Saturday afternoon.
The Hawks came out fired up in doubles play winning all three of the matches 3-0.
Brendan White (Old Lyme, Conn.) /
Jared Deibe (Oakland, N.J.) dominated in the number one's matchup against Trevor Jones (South Hamilton, Mass.) / and D.J. Bisaillon (Watertown, Conn.) with an 8-1 win.
Thomas O'Leary (North Easton, Mass.) and
Miles Conlin (Branford, Conn.) defeated their opponents 8-3 and Dan Tacco (East Quogue, N.Y.) and
Tyler Cain (Montpelier, Vt.) won 8-0.
In singles play, White competed against Jones winning the match 6-0, 6-1. Number two, Deibe faced Bisaillon and earned a 7-6, 7-1 score. Tacco defeated Will Chasse (Greenville, R.I.) from Salve 6-4, 6-3, while O'Leary beat
Aaron White (Falmouth, Mass.) 6-1, 6-1.
Jake Cole (Sterling, Va.) and Matt Feldman (Duxbury, Mass.) at 5 and 6, both crushed their opponents 6-0, 6-0.

Barry Gorman states, "This was a good league win for us. We played great as a team and we are looking forward to facing Nichols on Wednesday."
The Hawks move on to Nichols College on April 10
