WESTON, Mass. – With the release of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Fall 2019 All-Academic Team, 17 Roger Williams University Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving student-athletes have been named to the team.
For the Women, earning spots on the team are
Brooke Britt (Sag Harbor, N.Y.),
Brenna Guilmette (Johnston, R.I.),
Madison Guitard (Phoenix, Ariz.),
Shannon Kannally (Wrentham, Mass.),
Bharathi Kolluru (Berwyn, Pa.),
Caterina Liseo (Watertown, N.Y.),
Meg Peters (Cape Girardeau, Mo.),
Callie Sullivan (Wrentham, Mass.),
Allison Surian (Burlington, Conn.),
Molly Sweet (Westbrook, Maine), and
Kaley Youngcourt (Monroe, Conn.).
For the Men,
John Babuka (Richmond, Ky.),
Billy Ebersold (Glastonbury, Conn.),
Jeff Lyman (North Providence, R.I.),
Eamon McKenney (Portsmouth, R.I.),
Conor Quinn (Milford, Conn.), and
Ian Zito (Cumberland, R.I.) were all selected to the team.
Of the 21 institutions that comprise NEISDA, Roger Williams posted the second-most combined male and female student-athletes on the NEISDA Fall 2019 All-Academic Team, just behind the 20 student-athletes of Simmons University.
In order for a swimmer or diver to make the NEISDA Fall All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must have a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
This marks the third straight year that RWU's men's and women's teams combined for at least 15 members on the NEISDA Fall All-Academic Team.
