WESTON, Mass. – With the release of the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Spring 2021 All-Academic Team, 17 Roger Williams University Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving student-athletes have been named to the team.
For the women, earning spots on the team are
Ellie Field (Adams, Mass.),
Brenna Guilmette (Johnston, R.I.),
Shannon Kannally (Wrentham, Mass.),
Bharathi Kolluru (Berwyn, Pa.),
Alyson Lowney (Mystic, Conn.),
Meg Peters (Cape Girardeau, Mo.),
Sandy Remson (Norwalk, Conn.),
Emily Slusarczyk (Charlestown, R.I.),
Molly Sweet (Westbrook, Maine), and
Kaley Youngcourt (Monroe, Conn.).
For the men,
Ryan Duryea (Sag Harbor, N.Y.),
Alvin Gay (Bridgeport, Conn.),
Jeff Lyman (North Providence, R.I.),
Eamon McKenney (Portsmouth, R.I.),
Dalton Sousa (Carver, Mass.),
Emmett Stottlemeyer (Durango, Colo.), and
Riley Williams (Arvada, Colo.) were all selected to the team.
Of the 20 institutions that comprise NEISDA, Roger Williams tied for the second-most combined male and female student-athletes on the NEISDA Spring 2021 All-Academic Team.
In order for a swimmer or diver to make the NEISDA Spring All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must have a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher. In total, 195 student-athletes were honored.
