How It Happened
Endicott held serve throughout most of the opening quarter. The Gulls grabbed a two-point lead three minutes into the period and held on to it for the remainder. RWU was unable to score in the final three minutes as Endicott went into the second up 13-7.

In the following period, the Hawks climbed their way back into the game, pulling within one with five minutes until halftime (16-17).  RWU would eventually take the lead on a Gabby Jerahian layup with three minutes to play (20-19). The game would eventually go into halftime tied at 24.

The third quarter was fairly tight, with neither side leading by more than four points throughout. RWU would score on their final possession of the period for a slim 39-38 lead going into the fourth.

RWU would go up by as many as five in the quarter before Endicott came back to regain the advantage. The Gulls held a 52-49 lead in the final minute of play, but a clutch three-pointer by Sam Mancinelli tied the game up and helped send RWU into OT.

In the extra period, RWU scored the first five points of OT while holding Endicott scoreless over the first two minutes. RWU's defense would come through in the clutch, as the Gulls missed four of their final five shots to allow the Hawks to escape with the victory.
