Suarez is a fourth-year member of the Hawks and has seen game action in 33 career games to this point in his career making three starts. He played in 10 games as a freshman season corralling 12 ground balls and causing three turnovers on the season. In his third career game against UMass- Dartmouth, he scored his first career goal in the second quarter, a tally that proved to be a game winner for the Hawks, before adding a second score later in the contest.
In his second season in Bristol, Suarez appeared in 18 of the Hawks 19 games and made a pair of starts. He recorded his first two career assists while also providing solid defensive work with 16 ground balls, and five forced turnovers.
Last spring was shaping up to be the best yet for Suarez, who made one start and appeared in all five games for the Hawks in their abbreviated season. He did not record a point, but he was terrific at scooping up loose balls snatching 11 ground balls for the team.
Off the field, Suarez is studying Educational Studies and previously served as an intern with the Commonwealth Coast Conference this past fall.
