CUMBERLAND, R.I.- The Roger Williams University Women's Track & Field team competed at the Wheaton Tri-Meet, hosted by Wheaton College on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks took home third place, scoring 13 points, finishing behind Worcester Polytechnic Institute who scored 105, and Wheaton College who posted 71 points.
On the day, RWU accumulated a quartet of top-three finishes including second place finishes by
Shirah Strock (Castleton, N.Y.) in the pole vault, and by the 4x100 Meter Relay team consisting of
Victoria Colon (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.),
Lara Kester (Massapequa, N.Y.),
Catherine Niziak (Merrimac, Mass.), and
Madison Fancher (Gloversville, N.Y.).
