BRISTOL, R.I. — The Roger Williams Men's Tennis team earned their sixth straight win against WNE 9-0 on Thursday afternoon.
 
Hawk Highlights
To start doubles play, Jon Trevethan (Berlin, Conn.) and Dan Tocco (East Quogue, N.Y.) shutout their opponents Matthew Russell (Auburn, Mass.) and Max Gordon (Middleton, Mass.) 8-0. Number two singles Arlex Correa (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Ryan Schuck (Glastonbury, Conn.) took down WNE's Sebastian Smreczak (Auburn, Mass.) and Michael Robichaud (Auburn, Mass.) 8-3. Tyler Cain (Montpelier, Vt.) and Nick Cristante (North Haven, Conn.) triumphed the Goldenbear's #3's 8-3 for an early 3-0 lead.  
 
In singles play, Trevethan dominated over Russel 6-0, 6-2. Tocco and Cain defeated their opponents (6-2, 6-1), (6-1, 6-3). Correa overcame Brendan O'Connell (North Providence, R.I) 6-1, 6-1 and Schuck beat Robichaud 6-0, 6-1. Ben Chiasson (Bristol, Conn.) was the last match that clinched the 9-0 win for the Hawks taking down Mohammed Alsairafi (Chicopee, Mass.) 6-0, 6-0.
