BRISTOL, R.I. — The Roger Williams Men's Tennis team completed the regular season Saturday afternoon with a 9-0 win over Salve Regina, finishing with a perfect 8-0 record.
 
Hawk Highlights
At #1 doubles, Dan Tocco (East Quogue, N.Y.) and Jon Trevethan (Berlin, Conn.) claimed an 8-0 win over Ned Batstone and Samuel Johnson while Tyler Cain (Montpelier, Vt.) and Nick Cristante (North Haven, Conn.) won at #3 over Clarke DiPiazza and John Leonard by the same score. Arlex Correa (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Ryan Schuck (Glastonbury, Conn.) picked up an 8-1 win at #2 against Aaron White and Tyler Hussey for the doubles sweep.
 
At singles, Tocco and Schuck didn't drop a set in their respective #2 and #5 wins against White and Jon Vento. Cain and Correa both won by 6-1, 6-2 scores against Hussey and Johnson at #3 and #4 while Jake Bernard (Redding, Conn.) defeated Benjamin Resende 6-1, 6-1 at #6. Trevethan closed out his #1 match 6-3, 6-3 against Batstone.
