PORTSMOUTH, R.I.- For the third consecutive season, and eighth time overall, the Roger Williams University Women's Track & Field team took home the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship at the track in Portsmouth, R.I. on Sunday. The Hawks won the meet with a team score of 147.5 to finish ahead of Gordon College and Endicott College who scored 131.5 and 130 points respectively.
 
In addition, a trio of school throwing records fell for RWU. Kristen Norray (Berne, N.Y.) broke a pair of records in the Shot Put and Hammer Throw events while Brooke Dutton (Coventry, Conn.) set both the school and CCC Championship record in the Discus Throw.
 
In addition, the Hawks took home 16 All-CCC honors by finishing in the top three in their event including four on the first team by winning their event.
