BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Sailing team began the 2021-22 season with a runner-up finish at the Mount Hope Bay Invitational as part of a busy weekend with the entire team seeing action across four regattas.
 
Hawk Highlights
At the Mt. Hope Bay Invite, Roger Williams put three boats on the water, coming away with placings of eight and ninth place in addition to their second-place showing. The runner-up Hawks 1 boat notched second in A Division and third in B Division. At the Harry Anderson Jr. Trophy, Roger Williams took fourth place and 11^th on the weekend on the strength of a second-place finish at A Division.
 
The Hawks did not fare as well at the Pine Trophy, coming away with eighth place in the regatta. At the Women's Toni Deutsch Trophy, RWU claimed 14^th place overall.
