BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Sailing team competed in three regattas this past weekend, coming home with a pair of top-seven finishes across their three sets of competition.
 
Hawk Highlights
The Hawks appeared to have to deal a relative lack of breeze across all three regattas. The Mrs. Hurst Bowl saw nine total races sailed on the weekend, with eight races at the Hood Trophy and only six at the Sherman Hoyt Trophy.
 
At the Hood Trophy, Roger Williams posted a seventh-place finish at the event, with B Division claimed sixth and A Division taking eight. Yale took the tiebreaker over RWU to take sixth. The Mrs. Hurst Bowl saw the Hawks come away with eighth place overall, posting a pair of top-ten results at A and B Division. Wrapping up the Hawks' weekend was a 13^th-place showing at the Sherman Hoyt Trophy.
