MEDFORD, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Women's Volleyball team continues to find its first victory of the season, as the Hawks fell 0-3 to Tufts University Tuesday evening.

How It Happened
In the opening set, RWU fell behind early, as Tufts scored six consecutive points to break a 3-3 tie. The Hawks fell behind by as many as 11 before the Jumbos claimed the opening set 25-10.
 
The second set saw a host of miscues early in the game help push Tufts to a 7-1 lead, with the Jumbos scoring four points on a pair of aces and two misplayed sets by the Hawks. RWU came as close as four (6-10) but Tufts continued to put the pressure on RWU, eventually taking a 20-9 lead. The Jumbos would go up 2-0 with a 25-17 win.
 
Roger Williams kept the third set close early on, staying within two points of Tufts in the first part of the game. The Hawks managed to tie the set at seven before four straight Jumbo points forced an RWU timeout. The Hawks would fall behind by nine (10-19) before taking another TO. Tufts would pick up the win with a 25-14 third set win.
