CCC RELEASE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Bianca Robbins (Johnston, R.I.) of the Roger Williams University women's soccer team was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season, as announced by the conference office Monday.
 
Robbins picks up the honor after the Hawks posted a 2-1 record over the course of three games last week, splitting their pair of CCC contests.
 
In Roger Williams opening win of the week, Robbins tallied a hat trick scoring three goals on seven shot attempts, before netting a pair of goals on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Salve Regina in their lone loss of the week.
 
Robbins then rounded out the week scoring the game-winner on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Western New England, toppling one of the top teams in the conference 1-0.
 
Roger Williams (7-9-3, 3-3-2 CCC) will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 25 in a 7 pm contest against Nichols.  This will round out the regular season with the CCC Tournament scheduled to begin on Saturday, Oct. 29.
