CCC RELEASE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Max Manjos (Monroe, Conn.) of the Roger Williams University men's basketball team earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) rookie of the week honors for the week ending Nov. 20.
 
Manjos averaged 9.0 points per game to go with three rebounds, and four assists per contest. 
 
In the Hawks opening contest of the season against Coast Guard, Manjos knocked down three shots from beyond the arc, while grabbing four boards and five assists in the contest. Roger Williams defeated the Bears 106-71.
 
In their second game of the week, the Hawks fell to Connecticut College 68-62.  In the matchup Manjos tallied nine points on 3-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc. Along with his three triples for nine points, Manjos added three assists and a pair of rebounds.  He also made an impact defensively recording a steal.
 
Roger Williams (1-1, 0-0 CCC) will be in action on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 5 pm in the Campus Rec Center against Wheaton.  The Hawks will then prepare for a Sunday, Nov. 27 contest at Clark scheduled for a 6 pm tipoff.
