Drew Hart (Cheshire, Conn.) joined the podcast. He sat down with host
Bryce Johnson to discuss the team's recent game against rivals Endicott, his decision to return for a fifth year, and what it means to him to reach the 1,000-point plateau.

Hart entered the 2021-22 season after earning All-CCC Third Team recognition in each of the previous two seasons for the Hawks. As a sophomore, he averaged 10.5 points per game, the second-most on the roster, shooting at a .605 clip along the way to lead the team and rank third in the CCC. He also connected on his three-point attempts at a .538 rate that would have led the team had it qualified and ranked third collecting 4.7 rebounds per contest.
With an increased role as a junior, Hart saw an increase in productivity while maintaining his high efficiency as a scorer. He was second on the team and 15
th in the CCC netting 15.5 points per game to go with 6.0 boards per game to lead the Hawks and averaged 2.8 assists, the second most on the roster. His .528/.404/.550 shooting line was outstanding with his field goal and three-point percentages each ranking second on the team.
Following a year off due to COVID, Hart has returned looking like a man on a mission and is on pace to set or match his career-highs for scoring average, rebounds per game, assists per game, blocks per game, and free throw percentage. He currently ranks second on the team and eighth in the CCC scoring 18.3 points per game while leading the team and sitting among the CCC's best in rebounding average (6.0, 21
st), assists per game (3.1, 9
th), blocks per game (0.7, 13
th), and field goal percentage (55.1, 10
th). In addition, he has seen dramatic improvement at the charity stripe and ranks second on the team and ninth in the conference among qualifiers in free throw percentage at 81.1%.
Off the court, Hart is studying Communications and Media Studies and is a two-time member of the CCC All-Academic Team.
