ORLANDO, Fla. — The Roger Williams Men's Tennis team collected a pair of wins in the team's first day of action of spring break. The Hawks opened the day with a 6-3 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Superior, followed by a 7-2 win over St. Scholastica.
 
Hawk Highlights
Dan Tocco (East Quogue, N.Y.), Jon Trevethan (Berlin, Conn.), and Matt Glassman (West Hartford, Conn.) all finished the day with three wins. Tocco won both of his #2 singles matches, defeating Andre Luiz of Wisconsin-Superior 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 and Carter Anderson of St. Scholastica 6-2, 6-3. At #1 singles, Trevethan set down Michael Janes of Wisconsin-Superior 6-0, 6-0, while he and Tocco won both of their #1 doubles matches on the day. The pair opened with an 8-7 (8-6) victory against Andre Luiz and Gergo Potz Nagy of Wisconsin-Superior before downing Jonas Abeleda and Alex Daigneault of St. Scholastica 8-4.
 
Glassman was also perfect at doubles on the day, pairing up with Tyler Cain (Montpelier, Vt.) for an 8-4 win against Frederick Diehl and Gus Rasmussen of Wisconsin-Superior and an 8-5 win against Duke Nguyen and Reece Patten of St. Scholastica. At singles, Glassman downed Giacomo Lucchesi of St. Scholastica 6-4, 6-2 at the #3 flight.
