BRISTOL, R.I. - Roger Williams University is pleased to announce the hiring of Nick Gendreau as the next Director of Athletic Communications. 

We are very excited to have Nick join the department.  During the interview, his passion for athletics showed through.  His past experiences have made him ready for the Director's role." 

Gendreau comes to Roger Williams from Norwich University in Northfield, VT.  As the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Norwich, he was responsible for seven of the departments' 20 sports. Prior to his time with the Cadets he served as a graduate intern at Regis College (Mass.), Gendreau developed video for teams, oversaw broadcasts and assisted in game operations for home contests.

A Sport Management major at Nichols College, Gendreau went on to compete his masters in Strategic Communication at Regis College. 

He will join the RWU staff on July 15.
