2022 WOMEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE

BRISTOL, R.I. – After reaching the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament Championship in 2021, the Roger Williams University women's soccer team is prepared to take the field in 2022, announcing their schedule.
 
The Hawks compiled a 14-8 overall record last season completing a 5-4 run through the conference. Last season was the first season since 2017 that Roger Williams made an appearance in the CCC Championship game, and the sixth under Head Coach Tim Moody.
 
The 2022 schedule for the Hawks consists of 20 contests, playing eight games at home, 10 games on the road, along with a pair of neutral site contests. The women's soccer team will play nine CCC matches throughout the course of the regular season.
 
The Hawks will begin the campaign on the road, traveling to Framingham State on Thursday, Sept. 1 for a 4 pm tilt against the Rams. They will then face off against Babson on Saturday, Sept. 3.
 
The following Friday, the Hawks will begin competition in the New England College Classic, where they will face off against Clarkson Sept. 9 and SUNY Potsdam on Saturday, Sept. 10.
 
After the two neutral site contests, the Hawks will host MIT in their home opener at Bayside Field. After a game at home, the Hawks will begin CCC play on the road at the University of New England on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 12 pm.
 
The Hawks will then return to non-conference play facing off against WPI on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 7 pm and Brandeis on Thursday, Sept. 22.  Gordon will then come to visit Bristol on Saturday, Sept. 24 for a 3 pm kickoff, in a rematch of the 2021 CCC Tournament Championship. 
 
Bridgewater State comes to town on Wednesday, Sept. 28 to close out the month of September, before a Oct. 1 visit to CCC foe Suffolk. After their run to the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinals, Wesleyan will matchup on the pitch with the Hawks at 7 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
 
After a Thursday contest with UMass Dartmouth, Roger Williams will return to conference play traveling to Wentworth on Saturday, Oct. 8 for a 12 pm matchup with the Leopards. Curry will come to Bristol on Tuesday, Oct. 11 followed by a visit from Endicott at 12 pm on Oct. 15, which will be homecoming Saturday.
 
The Hawks will play their final non-conference contest of the season against Fitchburg State at home, before playing a pair of road matches against CCC foes Salve Regina on Oct. 19 and Western New England on Oct. 22.  The Hawks regular season rounds out on Tuesday, Oct. 25 on Bayside Field against Nichols.
 
The CCC Women's Soccer Tournament begins with the Quarterfinals on Saturday, Oct. 29 with eight teams making the field.  The Semifinals will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 1, and the tournament will conclude with the Championship taking place on Saturday, Nov. 5. This is the this will be the 12^th season under Head Coach Tim Moody.
