KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Roger Williams University women's soccer team was recognized as the No. 8 team in Region II by the United Soccer Coaches.
 
This is the first incarnation of the women's soccer regional rankings  for the 2022 season. 
 
Inside the poll were three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) teams, with Endicott and Gordon also entering the poll.  The Hawks also have matched up against the top team in Region II in Babson, with the Beavers also clocking in at No. 11 nationally.
 
Region II has three teams inside the Top 25 (#11 Babson, #21 Endicott, and #22 MIT) while, Brandeis also received national votes.
 
Roger Williams (2-2, 0-0 CCC) play at home for the first time in 2022 on Wednesday, Sept. 14 when they host #22 MIT in a non-conference matchup at 4 pm.  The Hawks will then play at the University of New England on Saturday, Sept. 17, starting at 12 pm.
