BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University women's soccer team fell to nationally ranked #22 MIT on Wednesday, falling to the Engineers 6-1.
The Engineers scored the first goal in the 22
nd minute before striking again in the 27
th minute with a goal by Ashley English. MIT struck again just over a minute later to lead 3-0.
The Hawks trailed 5-0 after the first half, and the Engineers scored early in the second half, to take a 6-0 lead.

Bianca Robbins (Johnston, R.I.) scored her first goal of the season, when she was on the receiving end of a pass, but she made a move past a pair of defenders before firing a shot into the lower left corner of the net to put Roger Williams on the board.
Roger Williams (2-3, 0-0 CCC) travels to the University of New England for their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opener on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 12 pm. The Hawks will then travel to WPI on Tuesday, Sept. 20.
