BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University women's soccer team picked up a victory over UMass Dartmouth, downing the Corsairs, 2-0, on Tuesday evening on Bayside Field.
The Hawks led 10-2 in shots with the Hawks putting six shots on target to while holding UMass Dartmouth without a shot on goal. The Hawks held the edge in corner kicks, 5-0, in the match.

Mya D'Antonio (Marshfield, Mass.) who tucked a shot inside the far post for her third goal of the season.
Six minutes later, freshman
Ariana Torres (Cranston, R.I.) got her first career goal off a corner kick, that bounced away from the defenders, and put it into the back of the net, off of the initial corner from
Grace Kelly (Milford, N.H.).
The score would hold at 2-0 in favor of the Hawks heading into the half with D'Antonio's goal being the game winner.
Roger Williams (5-5-3, 1-0-1 CCC) will take on Western New England on Friday, Oct. 6 at 6:00 pm at home. The Hawks will then travel to Nichols on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 3:00 pm before hosting a non-conference match-up against Worcester State on Thursday, Oct. 12.
