CCC RELEASE
BIDDEFORD, Maine — The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced their Awards for the 2022-23 season on Tuesday afternoon, naming two Roger Williams men's basketball student-athletes to All-CCC teams.
Mac Annus (Belmont, Mass.) was named Second Team All-CCC and
Will MacDonald (York, Maine) was named Third Team All-CCC.
Annus lands on the squad after starting in all 26 games for the Hawks. His 52.3 percent shooting from the floor ranked second on the team this season, while averaging a team high 34.6 minutes per contest. He also shot 43.8 percent from distance, averaging a team-high 15.8 points per game. Pulling down 3.5 rebounds per matchup.
Annus is also dished out 56 assists along with 23 steals, and 8 blocks this season.
MacDonald was named to the Third Team after compiling a 48.3 shooting percentage ranking 3th in the CCC, scoring 13.9 points per game this season. The Hawks forward is 13
th also is inside the top 20 in points per game in the league. MacDonald also pulled down 5.4 rebounds per game with 37 assists on the season to go with 12 steals and a pair of blocked shots.
Roger Williams (13-13, 10-8 CCC) saw their season come to a close in the CCC Quarterfinal matchup against Endicott. The Hawks entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed.
