BRISTOL, R.I – The Roger Williams University men's tennis team defeated Salve Regina 8-1 on Friday.

The Hawks swept doubles play, before going 5-1 in singles play.  Jon Trevethan (Berlin, Conn.) took over a 6-0, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles, before Ryan Carroll (Holden, Mass.) added a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 2 singles spot.

After dropping No. 3 singles, the Hawks saw Johnny Baldyga (Simsbury, Conn.), Ryan Schuck (Glastonbury, Conn.), and Matt Glassman (West Hartford, Conn.) each take wins in their respective singles matches.

Roger Williams (7-1, 0-0 1-0 CCC) will take on Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent Curry on Tuesday, Mar. 28 at the RWU Tennis Courts, the Hawks will then be on the road against Gordon and Western New England.
