BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University women's lacrosse team suffered their first regular season Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) loss since Apr. 20, 2019, falling to Endicott, 12-10, on Saturday on Bayside Field.
 
Brooke McErlain (Hampton, N.H.) scored five points while scoring three goals and two assists, picking up three ground balls, a caused turnover, and two draw controls. Mandy Beck (Old Saybrook, Conn.) had three caused turnovers and three ground balls, with three points on two goals and an assist. Beck also scored her 100^th career goal in the contest.
 
Beck struck first 7:10 into the matchup, before the Gulls scored three straight over a span of 3:09.  McErlain then scored back-to-back goals within 14 seconds of each other to level the score at 3-3.
 
Early in the second, Lily Cunningham (Melrose, Mass.) scored her first of two goals in the contest with the Endicott following with a pair of their own.  Roger Williams then saw three go into the cage, leading 7-4, before the Gulls put two goals in in the final 34 seconds, to level the score 7-7 going into the half.
 
After Beck's 100^th career goal 1:21 into the second half, the Gulls added a pair taking a 9-8, lead. McErlain leveled the score, before the Gulls to the lead for good with a goal with 4:30 remaining in the third quarter.
 
Roger Williams (6-6, 3-1 CCC) will face Gordon on Wednesday, Apr. 12 at 4 pm, before hosting the University of New England on Saturday, Apr. 15 at 12 pm for Senior Day.
