BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University men's swimming team took home first place at the Roger Williams University Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The men led the field with 427.50 points, good for 240 more points than second place finisher Norwich University.
Riley Williams (Arvada, Colo.) picked up three individual first place finishes for the Hawks. He paced the group in the 200 yard freestyle (1:48.11), 500 yard freestyle (4:58.79), and the 100 yard breaststroke (1:00.8). He was also apart of the 400 yard freestyle relay that took first place as well, with a time of 3:17.18 as a unit.
Seth Sutton (Dumfries, Va.) took home first place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.12, slotting in just ahead of teammate
Blake Anderson (Seekonk, Mass.) who finished with a time of 22.31. Sutton was also apart of the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team that grabbed first with a time of 1:28.83.

Blake Anderson took home first in the 200 yard Freestyle with a time of 1:28.83. For the 400 Yard Freestyle, it was Connor Poestsch and
Blake Anderson again, along with
Dylan Gourlay and
Riley Williams who grabbed first place with a time of 3:17.87.
Following the first place finish as a unit, the Hawks will be right back on action today at WPI, Sunday, Oct. 27.
