Box Score DUDLEY, MASS. – The Roger Williams men's basketball team fell to the Nichols Bison 95-77 in Saturday afternoon's Conference of New England battle.
 
It was a tail of two halves in the matchup, as the teams were tied up at 42 headed into the half, before Nichols went on to outscore the Hawks by 18 in the second half securing the win comfortably.
 
The difference in the matchup was the shooting percentages, as the Bison outshot the Hawks by 22% from the field. The Bison shot 61% from the field to the Hawks 39%, with the Bison scoring 32 points in transition to the Hawks seven.
 
Individually, Roger Williams was led by Mac Annus (Belmont, Mass.) who dropped in 18 points. Finn Miller (Stamford, Mass.) added 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds in the loss. For the Bison, Javon Flowers-Smith poured in 44 points, shooting 17-24 from the field.
 
The loss moves the men to 5-3 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. They will travel back home on Tuesday, Dec. 10 to take on Curry College. Following the return from winter break, the Hawks will take on Salve Regina in a non-conference matchup on Jan. 2.
