BRISTOL, R.I.- The Roger Williams University Men's swimming team conceded to the Connecticut College Camels 79-183 at home on Saturday, December 7.
 
The Hawks sent Dylan Gourlay (Mount Kisco, N.Y.), Seth Sutton (Dumfries, Va.), Riley Williams (Arvada, Colo.) and Blake Anderson (Seekonk, Mass.) to compete in the 200-yard Medley Relay. The team finishing in second-place this event with an overall time of 1:35.52.
 
In the 200-yard Freestyle relay, the Hawks' Vince Tarolli (Syracuse, N.Y.), Sutton, Gourlay and Anderson swam to a second-place finish with a time of 1:28.35.
 
For the 400-yard Individual Medley, Luke Austin (Essex Junction, Vt.) swam to a third place finish, finishing the event in 4:26.08.
 
In Freestyle events this meet, the Hawks Anderson and Sutton swam to a first and second-place finish, respectively. Anderson finishing the race in 22.04 and Sutton in 22.07.
 
In the 100-yard freestyle, Anderson swam again for the Hawks, this time finding a third-place finish with a time of 49.05.
 
Connor Poetsch (Randolph, N.J.) swam for the Hawks in the 200-yard freestyle race along with Cam Hogg (Bridgewater, Mass.) and James Guilmette (Johnston, R.I.). Poetsch finished in third-place with a time of 1:50.88. Behind him, Hogg found a fifth-place finish with a time of 1:54.76, followed by Guilmette in sixth with a time of 1:58.08.
 
In the 500-yard freestyle event, Gourlay found a third-place finish for the Hawks, finishing with a time of 4:59.72.
 
For the 1000-yard freestyle, Carter Brown (Lake Ridge, Va.) finishing in third-place for the Hawks with a time of 10:31.24.
 
In Backstroke events this meet, the Hawks Jonathan Smith (East Greenwich, R.I.) swam to a fifth-place finish, having a time of 58.80. Behind him, Gourlay fell into fifth-place with a time of 58.82 and Brown finishing in seventh with a time of 58.87.
 
Williams swam for the Hawks in the 200-yard backstroke, finding a third place finish, having a time of 2:02.88.
 
In Breaststroke events this meet, the Hawks' Austin swam in both the 100-yard and 200-yard events, placing second and first respectively. Austin finished the 100-yard with a time of 1:01.85 and the 200-yard in 2:12.65. Also in the 200-yard events, Williams found a second place finish with a time of 2:12.75.
 
In Butterfly events this meet, the Hawk's Sutton and Williams swam for the team. Sutton placing in second-place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.08. Williams also finished his event in second-place, having a time of 1:56.73 in the 200-yard butterfly.
 
This meet marks the end of the fall portion of the Hawks' season. The Roger Williams men's swimming team will return on Saturday, January 18th, where they will travel to compete against Wesleyan and Springfield in Middletown, Conn.)
