BRISTOL, R.I. — The Roger Williams University women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 win over Eastern Connecticut State at the Paolino Recreation Center in non-conference play on Wednesday afternoon, rebounding after their last outing.

Roger Williams hit .194 as a team with 52 kills and 48 assists, while adding 12 block assists and seven service aces. Kaylee Jackson led the Hawks with 11 kills, 23 digs, and two aces, for a double-double, while Brianna Picchietti and Angela West each recorded 14 and 12 kills, respectively. Emma Bosco ran the offense with 36 assists and two aces, and Marianna Hernandez anchored the back row with 16 digs.

The Hawks opened the match strong, cruising to a 25-14 win in the first set before taking a close 25-22 second frame. After dropping the third 25-23, RWU regrouped to finish off the match with a 25-19 victory in the fourth.

Roger Williams (12-10, 6-1 CNE) will host the University of New England on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1:00 pm for Senior Day.
